~ Celebrating 20 Years Of Organic Farming in 2013!!! Pure Earth Organic Farm, was established in 1993 on 30 acres of rented land in Collier Township, not far from the City of Pittsburgh, growing organic vegetables for Farmer's Markets and wholesale outlets throughout the area. In 2001, the farm moved and expanded to 85 acres, 100 miles North of Pittsburgh, near Cambridge Springs, which is in-between Edinboro and Meadville, PA. In 2006 we expanded our acreage to 110 acres. Organic Garlic is our specialty (and main cash crop), but we sometimes have vegetables, fruit (apples), herbs, flowers, and other crops, depending on the season and the weather. In 2010 we added honeybees to our operation for crop pollination, honey, and to help increase genetic diversity on our farm.
