Linda, Russ, and their children operate a family dairy farm. Linda has had grown vegetables for over 20 years, and every year Russ grows an acre of delicious Sweet Corn. Canning & freezing fresh vegetables & berries is a job well worth the time. To be able to have corn and strawberries in the winter is a heavenly treat! In 2008 we began a hydroponic strawberry farm. Strawberry plants are grown in towers (up off the ground) and watered with nutrients 4 times a day. The results are delicious and abundant! The enjoyment of being outdoors and growing healthy fruits & vegetables WITHOUT pesticides is rewarding! This year (2010) will be the SECOND year of a CSA for us. We are striving to diversify from the dairy farm & pursue other opportunities for income. God has given us the land and skills to successfully provide nutritious food; You can trust that with the years of experience that we have had growing fresh produce that you will not be disappointed!
