Organicism Farms is a Certified Naturally Grown produce farm located at the foot of the Smoky Mountains in scenic Seymour, TN, only about 15 miles from downtown Knoxville, TN. The farm was started by Jessica Hammonds and Ryan Carden in early 2009 after working in the organic food industry for several years. In their first year of operations they haven taken Knoxville by storm and and are planning to rapidly expand in 2010. Not only does Organicism Farms supply several Knoxville area restaurants (notable restaurants include Tomato Head, RouxBarb, Crown and Goose, and The Sunspot) with quality certified naturally grown produce, but they have also started a CSA program which will be expanding to 25+ members in the Spring, and setup online ordering with free Knoxville area delivery. For 2010 Organicism Farms plans on attending most of the local Knoxville area farmer's markets including Market Square Farmer's Market, New Harvest Farmer's Market, and the Maryville Farmer's Market. Their fresh produce will be available Tuesday - Saturday beginning in May at the above markets As if the farm didn’t already have enough offerings, they have also recently received their domestic kitchen certification from the Tennessee Department of Agriculture which allows them to cook freshly prepared food from our farm fresh produce. Look for their fresh prepared foods in fine groceries such as Three Rivers Market.
