Our vision for The Gathering Place is to establish a farm by preparing the land for the harvesting of several varieties of fruit trees (apple, plum, cherry), grape vines, blueberry & blackberry bushes, strawberries, figs, culinary & medicinal herb gardens & many assortments of hierloom vegetables for naturally grown provision for as many as we can. In this process we are learning how to plant, grow, harvest, preserve, & store up provisions, so that we may teach others. In addition we are expanding slowly into raising cows: for milk, cheese & yogart & meat(2013); chickens: for poultry & eggs; bees: for honey & pollination (maybe next year), all for the purpose of becoming self-sufficient in helping our communities and people that are in need. We have seen great increase as God continues to grace us and give us strength for this great endevor. The journey is always better when you can walk together with others who have the same vision. Thanks to CNG and the farmers who have cleared the paths before us, who have made our way easier by sharing their journey with us. We have now added Gathering Herbs our new component here @ The Gathering Place. We grow/provide both culinary & medicinal herbs; for the healing of the Body.
