Peacefield Farm
Ludington, Michigan
Our farm is proudly Certified Naturally Grown (CNG). We follow the same requirements of the National Organic Program (NOP) that certified organic farms follow. The only difference is that we follow the IFOAM requirments of the Participatory Guarantee Systems (PGS)which is the same system that farmers world-wide follow. All of our crops are grown without artificial inputs. We do not use artificially created chemicals or pesticides on our soil or on the growing plants. Instead, we nurture the health of our soil with compost, crop rotations, cover cropping systems and natural rock amendments. We invite you to come look around our farm....look around our web site, too. You are welcome to visit anytime. 2011 was our third year at the new farm site; we were able to expand our cropping area, as well as the number of crops grown and sold to area markets. During 2012 we will sell our produce at our on-farm stand and at the Ludington farmer's markets: each Friday from 3 - 8 pm beginning May 25, 2012.
