Springhouse Farm

Vilas, North Carolina

Springhouse Farm is an 8 acre farm located in the Vilas, North Carolina mountain community. We currently specialize in producing a large variety of vegetables and shiitake mushrooms using sustainable growing practices. We also have an apiary for honey and beeswax production and for pollination of our many crops. We actively support the local food movement by encouraging our customers to know where their food is produced and who is growing it. One major goal of Springhouse Farm is educational outreach. We have given farm tours to teach everything from beekeeping to shiitake log inoculation, and will continue to host these educational tours in the future.
