My name is Will McInnes and I am loving every minute and every book I read, everyone I talk to, and all that I have learned in my new adventure. i graduated Auburn University in 2002 with a bs in horticulture where I was involved with horticulture clubs etc. during my 5 years there. I came back home to Nashville where I got fully immersed in the high end residential side of Landscaping and worked with two different companies soaking up all I could from all of the great experiences I had. Since February of 2008 I have embarked on a journey to become one of the few high end, local vegetable producers in middle Tennessee on a farm that has been all but dead for the past 12 years. I learned a lot from my first year in production, first of all is that good ground takes time, and second of all, plant way more than the bugs can eat and that I can sell. This year is looking good so far. I have a month and a half jump on last year and am hoping to get many more greens in the ground this year, at the right time. I am open to visitors at the farm at any time and look forward to connecting with many more good folks in middle Tennessee in the years to come.
