Carson Creek Organics
Limestone, Tennessee
Carson Creek Organics was started in 2006 when the property was sold at auction to Bob and Robyn Carson. The five acres is located on Carson Creek Road where Bob's family ties go way back. Bob is the son of Elmer G. (Kit) and Mildred S. (Mickey) Carson. As a child Bob spent many summers on the farm which was then operated by his grandfather and later by his uncle, Clive Carson. The old family farm can be seen from the five acres now owned by Bob and Robyn. As time went by the Carsons all but disappeared from Carson Creek Road. Now there are a couple of Carsons back to growing produce on Carson Creek Road, and now we are Certified Naturally Grown. Our interests are growing the best quality of naturally grown produce and fruit that you will be proud to purchase and serve to your family. Spring harvest includes a variety of mustard greens, kale, cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower. Early summer we have green beans, potatoes, squash, watermelons and canteloupe, along with blackberries, raspberries, saskatoons, and early apples. Fall crops are sweet potates, cowpeas, black-eyed peas, and late apples. We hope you will take the time to visit and enjoy the produce. Our produce can be found at our local farmers markets. Look for the "Certified Naturally Grown" flyers and stickers.(This listing was last updated on March 04, 2011)
