I graduated NC State in 2008 with a BS degree in Agricultural Extension Education with a concentration in Horticulture. I then moved to Wilmington, NC for two years while my wife finished her schooling. I became immersed in the local and organic food movement in the Wilmington area. When my wife and I moved back to our home town of Coats, we decided to try and start the same type of movement in Harnett County. We have a small market here for sustainably grown seasonal produce, and we love our customers. We are just a small part-time operation now, but we have plenty of room and ambition to grow.
