Lone Oak Farms is owned and operated by Bill and Susan West. The 123-acre farm is home to cattle, Haflinger horses, Golden Comet and Buckeye (listed in the Slow Food's Ark of Taste) chickens, a Jersey cow named Jenny, an Aussie named Cayenne and a rescued cat named Addy. Son Tyler still lives at home and Seth and Kendra are married to Liz and Richard respectively. We have three beautiful granddaughters: Evelyn, Riley and Giovanna (Gigi). We have lived on the farm that was purchased by Bill's parents in the early 60's since 1975. Our gardens produce a variety of vegetables, small fruits and herbs and Susan loves to grow Italian heirlooms. Guests who want to experience life on the farm are welcome to spend a few hours or a day with us. Just call!
