Gardens From Earth! Our mission is to promote personal food security by educating, encouraging and supporting people to nourish themselves by growing their own healthy food. To meet our mission, we offer three sizes of vegetable garden packages for the home gardener in Western Pennsylvania: a Beginner’s Garden, a Family Garden, and a Canner’s Garden. In addition to seedlings and seeds to grow a variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers, each package includes complete growing instructions, organic fertilizer, tomato stakes, a garden tool, and a seasonal cookbook. Our guidebook includes information on planting, sample garden plans, and tips for organic pest control, but our service does not end with the delivery of your garden. We e-mail a regular garden update to you, with tips for maintaining your garden and what should be happening throughout the season.
