Mountain Air Farm LLC is a woman-owned business on a family farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains near the New River. Lavender is grown on property owned by the same family since 1773. Many varieties of lavender are grown, and products available include from bundles, culinary lavender, bath salts, lotion bars, balms, and sachets. The farm often participates in the Independence Farmers Market, and products are available at festivals and special events, as well as some co-ops and other markets.
