Most small farms are overly diversified!
Even though diversity is key to ecological farming it can also get out of hand. What if you could expand your sales and limit waste without adding new crops to your farm business? Kat the Farmer will discuss how she has done just that by finding diversification within a niche and increasing average order value through creative product development, variety selection, packaging, and value adding.
Kat brings two decades of farming experience and a passion for sharing and comparing notes with other farmers. This interactive webinar will allow participants to think critically about new products to add without stretching themselves too thin.
In this webinar you’ll learn:
- to hone your product list to figure what you grow well and what is actually bringing in profit
- to think creatively about how you can add value to those products to increase sales
- to ensure that the additional labor requirements for expanding your product offerings is sustainable and profitable
